About the Role
We’re working with a well-established organisation undergoing continued digital transformation across its technology platforms.
They’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join their engineering team, working on modern, cloud-based applications hosted both on-premise and in Microsoft Azure. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll contribute to the design, development, and support of scalable, event‑driven systems that underpin critical business processes.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior developers, business analysts, and subject-matter experts, playing a key role in delivering reliable and well‑engineered solutions.
What You’ll Do
* Design, build, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
* Develop and consume RESTful APIs and backend services
* Build and support Azure Functions for serverless and event‑driven workloads
* Work with Azure Storage Accounts, including Blob Storage for document and file management
* Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following best practices
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes via Azure DevOps
* Work within Agile / Scrum delivery teams
About You
* 5+ years’ commercial experience developing applications with .NET / .NET Core
* Strong C# skills with experience in ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
* Experience working with SQL Server and strong SQL querying skills
* Experience working with Azure
Nice to Have
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Front-end experience (Angular, React, or Blazor)
* Exposure to DevOps culture and CI/CD best practices
* Any experience with finance or enterprise systems
