We are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join a major CP7 rail infrastructure project based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s leading civil engineering and infrastructure businesses delivering critical upgrades to the rail network under Network Rail’s CP7 framework.

Role Overview:
As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring that all setting out, surveying, and quality assurance duties are carried out accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the site and project management teams to deliver the project to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements.
*
Assisting with design coordination, technical queries, and site documentation.
*
Managing and checking works against drawings and specifications.
*
Maintaining accurate records for QA and as-built documentation.
*
Supporting the project management team in delivering a safe and compliant site.
*
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
Requirements:
*
CSCS Card (Essential)
*
Relevant civil engineering qualification (HNC/Degree preferred)
*
Experience working on rail, civil, or infrastructure projects
*
Strong setting out and surveying experience
*
Knowledge of QA systems and documentation
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
