Part or Full-time Live-in Carer Required – Parkinson’s Care (Private Household, Eaton, Norwich)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live‑in carer to support a kind and good‑humoured 76‑year‑old gentleman living with advanced Parkinson’s disease. This is a rewarding role within a supportive and caring family environment. We are open to discussing job shares, part- or full‑time positions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide full personal care with dignity and respect
* Monitor health and arrange necessary healthcare appointments
* Drive, and assist with wheelchair use for outings and appointments
* Support mobility within the home and garden (uses a rollator; supervision required at all times to prevent falls)
* Support safe use of equipment including hospital bed and rise‑and‑recline chair
* Maintain a clean household
* Assist with grocery shopping, prepare nutritious meals and monitor sugar intake
* Encourage gentle exercise
* Assist with phone, radio, iPad, TV use and reading
* Provide companionship, including facilitating contact with friends/family
Requirements
* Experience in care (Parkinson’s preferred)
* Patient, kind and attentive
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)

Package
* Salary: £34,000 – £42,000 per annum (equivalent to £650 – £807 per week) depending on experience
* Live‑in, 5 days per week (days off covered by family/agency/another carer)
* 28 days leave per annum (excluding bank holidays)
* Private bedroom and food for meals provided
