Salary £50,000 per annum
Annual bonus of up to £3,000 pa, criteria dependant. With an additional £1,000 for an Outstanding Ofsted Inspection.

We have an opportunity to employ a Registered Manager within our established two-bed EBD therapeutic residential children’s home. The Registered Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the home and providing high-quality care for our young people in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.
The Registered Manager will promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of our young people and be responsible for the development and supervision of their team, encouraging professional progression where applicable.
Working hours are 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday), with the requirement on occasion, to work such hours over and above your normal weekly pattern as reasonably required. The Registered Manager will support the Deputies of being added to the on-call rota inorder to advise and assist the staffing team on emergency requirements.

Affinity Children’s Care Services is a residential childcare provider, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18 and who may display emotional and challenging behaviours. The young people placed within our services have often experienced significant adversity and trauma in their young lives and may no longer able to reside within their familial / foster home.

We ensure our team(s) adhere to Ofsted standards and guidelines referencing the Children’s Act and Children’s Care Standards, Ofsted is the looked after children’s regulatory body.
We are looking for someone who has passion for working with young people and are committed to improving the lives of the young people we care for. You should have strong leadership skills within Children’s Residential Care setting, along with 2 years previous experience in a supervisory position. In return we can provide access to opportunities for development both personally and professionally and progression within the company, as well as training and access to CPD.
The qualifications we require for the Registered Manager role is to have achieved or be working towards Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management (or hold a transferable qualification) and be successful in the registration process with Ofsted.
A Full UK driving licence is required for this position.
