As part of Nelson and Colne College Group, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, you\'ll be working in a high-quality, supportive environment where your industry knowledge and commitment to learner success will make a real difference. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to expand our provision to meet the region\'s growth in advanced manufacturing and engineering.

What You Will Be Doing
* Supporting apprentices from induction to End Point Assessment, guiding them through all aspects of their training programme.
* Visiting apprentices in the workplace to observe and assess competence, review progress, and provide high-quality coaching and support.
* Working collaboratively with employers and internal delivery staff to ensure apprentices are making timely and meaningful progress.
* Tracking apprentice progress using OneFile and internal systems, and ensuring all records and documentation are up to date and compliant.
* Contributing to standardisation and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of delivery and assessment.
* Adapting delivery to meet the needs of learners and their roles, including setting challenging targets, planning reviews, and embedding core themes such as Health & Safety, Safeguarding, British Values and Equality & Diversity.
* Helping apprentices develop both technical and transferable skills that are valued by employers in a fast-evolving sector.
What We Are Looking For
* A qualified assessor and IQA with demonstrable experience of leading highquality apprenticeship provision.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
* A passion for apprenticeships and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for learners and employers.
* While an engineering background is not essential, you must bring sector knowledge and experience relevant to managing technical apprenticeship programmes.
What We Offer in Return
* Generous annual leave entitlement increasing to a maximum of 28 days (with service), plus Bank Holidays and closure days - totalling 41 days per year
* Access to a workplace pension scheme - with employer contributions of 5%
