Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. You will work in our clients' children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work within a specialist environment. Full training and qualifications are provided to the right candidates.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs within residential or independent living settings. As part of your role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers is also required, in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A driving license is essential, as you will drive the unit car and take young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.
