As the Product Manager, Platform, you will drive the development and evolution of our platform, specifically focussed on the front-end user experience. Collaborating with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, brand and editorial teams, and other business stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to deliver on the strategic objectives, enhance functionality and improve performance. Your work will ensure that our platform meets the needs of both end-users and internal teams, while aligning with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

* Lead the definition and prioritisation of the Product Roadmap for their Strategic initiative
* Lead product discovery and problem definition processes
* Develop and refine a hypothesis-based roadmap (HBR) to iterate and test platform features, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives
* Evaluate and prioritize new feature requests, balancing competing ideas and establishing ways to test, iterate and scale those via the "platform effect"
* Set up, run, analyse and report on regular A/B testing experiments to inform product direction and adapt the Product Roadmap
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure all product proposals and updates align with Future's digital strategy
* Define clear investment cases for significant product and/or platform initiatives
* Report on success measurement and benefit realisation for all product initiatives

Cross Functional Collaboration

* Serve as one of the key points of contact for internal teams and stakeholders to address issues, query functionality, and gather input for product improvements
* Present new features to internal teams to drive adoption, gather feedback, and iterate for improved outcomes
* Help embed change in the business following the launch of new products, propositions and features
* Communicate change proposals to business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals before execution
* Work cross-functionally with data scientists, UX designers, and stakeholder teams to understand user behavior, perform user testing, and identify innovative opportunities for platform growth
* Work cross-functionally with Engineering colleagues in an Agile software development environment
* Manage and refine delivery backlog with engineering stakeholders


Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
* Defining and executing product strategy
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor complex ideas to various audiences and foster alignment across all levels of the organization
* Demonstrated success in optimising products through ideation, testing, and analysis, with measurable improvements to KPIs
* Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution
* Deep understanding of the "platform effect" and how incremental changes can create large-scale impacts
* Data-driven analysis, with expertise in evaluating KPIs to inform decisions, identify value, and drive impactful outcomes
* Experience designing scalable and flexible solutions for a diverse set of brands and content categories
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to secure alignment and approvals as needed
* Previous experience working within UX, business development, and/or engineering is desirable but not required

This role is being offered as a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months
