3. Shift 1: Week 1 is Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-7:30pm and Week 2 is Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am-7:30pm.

Due to business expansion, our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership based in the Herefordshire region, is currently looking to hire an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician for their business.
Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, as an HGV Technician, your key objectives will include:
6. To complete all service work and defined maintenance work of the utmost quality and efficiency within manufacturers' time schedules.
7. Supply a professional performance in all aspects of work activities to make an essential contribution to the value and retention of customers.
8. Supporting colleagues in the workshop with any technical issues and innovations.
9. Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions.
10. To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
11. Document the results of diagnosis/repairs/service/safety inspections.
To be eligible, you will ideally hold an IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; however, our client is willing to consider candidates with no formal qualifications but strong time served working experience as an HGV Technician. Any experience with Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) would also be highly beneficial. Overall, you will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Applicants with an active HGV driving licence would be highly advantageous; however, this is non-essential.
