The ideal candidate must have:
· Has a passion for cooking!
· Has some understanding of environmental health standards
· Shares our passion for encouraging children to eat healthily
· Ability to use initiative
· Has a Level 3 Qualification in Food Safety (or is willing to work towards)

Responsibilities
A nursery chef is primarily responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff within a nursery setting, while also maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
They must be aware of and cater to any special dietary needs or allergies, and ensure all food preparation adheres to health and safety guidelines.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including ordering supplies and maintaining kitchen equipment.
Little Elms is an established nursery that aims to provide the highest standards of care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.
