Radiography Assistant

We are looking for a Radiography Assistant who is interested in working at the Nottingham Breast Institute, in Ultrasound. The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday.
The candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Radiographer to provide support to the Breast imaging team in the Breast Department. The role involves working with patients and members of the multi-disciplinary team within the Breast Institute and will include escorting and chaperoning patients in ultrasound and assisting radiologists, clinicals and radiographers during screening and symptomatic breast clinics.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* 4 GCSE including Maths and English
Communication
* Is able to show good communication skills
* Has knowledge of hospital IT systems
Experience
* Shows flexibility to working across different sites in different areas
* Able to identify learning needs for this post
Skill
* Able to undertake safe manual handling of patients
* Is able to prove competence of having Manual Handling training
