An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Housekeeper (Domestic Cleaner) to join our team at Ilkeston Resource Centre, Ilkeston.
You will be required to carry out a full cleaning service. Although cleaning experience is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
This vacancy is for 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 07:00-14:30.

Housekeepers provide a high-class cleaning service to all buildings within the Trust, creating a clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key result areas (Main duties/responsibilities)
Cleaning Duties
1. Damp mopping and buffing all floor surfaces, including machinery use. Periodic maintenance as per cleaning schedules.
2. Vacuum cleaning of all carpeted areas, including machinery use.
3. Damp dusting radiators, pipes, and ledges.
4. Cleaning furniture and fittings using appropriate methods.
5. High dusting.
6. Cleaning partition glass and interior windows where necessary.
7. Cleaning all sanitary fittings.
8. Cleaning wall tiles.
9. Emptying refuse bins and removing waste to disposal areas; cleaning refuse holders.
10. Cleaning lockers, beds, and mattresses when vacated by patients.
Ad Hoc Duties
1. Ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies at required stock levels.
2. Completing relevant paperwork as requested by management.
3. Opening and securing buildings following procedures as needed.

* Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
