Job Title: Head Chef
In your role as a Head Chef at HC One, you'll value one thing above all: kindness. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include managing the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, healthy meals that Residents will enjoy. You will offer a variety of choices, considering cultural preferences and dietary needs. Whether managing food stocks, optimizing your budget, or liaising with support teams on nutrition standards, Resident wellbeing remains your priority.
Qualifications and Skills
1. S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
2. Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
3. Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
4. Positive energy and ability to get along with people
5. Organized with the ability to plan and prioritize
6. Excellent recipe following skills
7. Considerate and kind communication skills with Residents and colleagues
