We wish to appoint an experienced Accountant that will report directly to the Finance Director and form an integral part of the senior team.

Your new role
This is a fantastic role reporting directly to the Head of Finance with responsibility for:
6. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
7. Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and in a timely manner, ensuringpliance with regulations.
8. Conduct P&L analysis
9. Prepare accrual and prepayment journals, as well as override accruals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
10. Maintain stock records and perform stock workings, including relevant journal entries and reconciliations.
11. Prepare various financial reports and forms, including the Coop turnover form and EU VAT returns.
12. Conduct interpany nominal reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency across accounts.
13. Assist in the preparation for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.

What you'll need to succeed
15. Proven experience in a similar role, with strong proficiency in office management and financial administration.
16. Qualified or part-qualified with study support available.
17. Excellentputer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and accounting software (, QuickBooks, Xero).
18. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
19. Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
20. Goodmunication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders.
21. A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take initiative in resolving issues.
