SEN Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Role (Starting September)
Location: Shoreditch
Full-Time | Long-Term | Monday to Friday
Pay: £95-£115 per day (dependent on experience)
We're on the lookout for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a well-supported, inclusive secondary school in Redbridge. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone who wants to make a consistent impact within one school and one team.
What You'll Be Doing Providing
1:1 and small group support
for pupils with ASD, SEMH or complex needs Supporting students with
EHCPs
in and out of the classroom Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources Encouraging progress through
structured routines and emotional support Building
lasting relationships
with staff, students and parents
Requirements
We are only shortlisting candidates who can demonstrate: Previous SEN experience
(mainstream or specialist setting) Confidence supporting children with ASD, SEMH or speech & language needs A calm, consistent approach and excellent behaviour management Strong communication and teamwork skills Availability to commit

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
