Trust Housing Association has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker (Older People) to join our team at Whitelaw Court, Dunfermline, Fife KY11 4SJ.
In return for your enthusiasm and commitment as a Supported Housing Worker, we offer:
1. 16.75 contracted hours per week worked over an average of 3 days on a rolling 4-week rota:
2. Week 1: Wed 8.30am-3.00pm; Thurs 2.30pm-9.00pm
3. Week 2: Wed 2.30pm-9.00pm; Sat and Sun 2.30pm-9.00pm
4. Week 3: Tues 2.30pm-9.00pm; Fri 1.30pm-9.00pm
5. Week 4: Mon 2.30pm-9.00pm; Sat and Sun 8.00am-3.00pm
6. Working every second weekend
7. Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour
8. Generous holiday entitlement
9. Paid PVG check & professional membership including SSSC
10. Access to paid training and a vocational qualification
11. Option to work additional bank cover hours via our agency
What we're looking for in our Support Workers:
You will work with tenants to ensure they receive support as outlined in their personal plans, helping them maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting with meal delivery, supporting in the dining room, and occasional kitchen duties. Your support and dedication will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Support Worker Skills and Experience:
Ideally, you will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care and experience working with older or vulnerable community members. We offer opportunities for professional development and career progression in social care.
