The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile machine engineer, fabricator-welder capable of lathe turning, drilling & spin riveting. We would want you to undertake a range of tasks, joining in where required within the company. It would be preferable if you hold full Uk driving licence.
* Fabrication:
Cutting, shaping, and assembling various metal components using hand and power tools and machinery.
* Welding:
Performing high-quality MIG welding on a variety of materials.
* Technical Skills:
Reading and interpreting drawings & duplicating from samples, and production specifications to ensure accurate fabrication on small batch components
* Machine Operation:
Operating machinery such as small power press, lathe turning, drilling linishing, spin riveting and Mig welding.
* Quality Control:
Conducting quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
* Collaboration:
Working individually and with other engineers and other team members to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute fabrication and welding projects from start to finish.
* Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard of safety and quality.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working order.
* Delivering and collecting components to local platers and powder coaters
* Contribute to a clean and organized workshop environment.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in most if not all of the above.
* Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
* ability to read and interpret drawings.
* Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common fabrication tools and machinery.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
* Right to work in the UK.
