Job Details
* Basic Salary: £46,800
* Working Hours: Week 1 Monday-Friday - 6am - 2.30pm
* Week 2 Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 11pm
* Saturday (1 in 4) 7am - 12pm (at time and a half)
* Location: Bedford
Role
For the role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment, with prior supervisory experience. You will be responsible for looking after two other technicians and making the decisions to enable the running of a smooth shift consistently.
Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor
* Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
* Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
* Organize team workloads and communicate with shift
* Health and safety of shift members
* Good housekeeping and H&S requirements
* All work is carried out in a time scale acceptable to the customer
* Ensure all paperwork is completed
* To ensure all paperwork and general workshop duties are completed
Skills and Qualifications
* Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
* HGV licence is essential
* Prior supervisory experience
