From helping Year 3 students build their independent study skills to guiding Year 6 through their final primary year and SATs, you will lead a classroom where critical thinking is encouraged and academic confidence is built. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum (Years 3-6).
* Prepare pupils for statutory assessments (SATs) with a balanced focus on progress and wellbeing.
* Create an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities and needs.
* Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster respect and a love for learning.
* Analyse student data to identify gaps in learning and provide targeted interventions.
* Lead and inspire classroom support staff to maximize student achievement.
* Participate in the wider life of the school, including coastal-themed outdoor learning and extra-curricular clubs.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
* Strong subject knowledge across core and foundation subjects.
* Ability to use "Assessment for Learning" to drive student outcomes.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
