As the Foreman, you’ll be at the heart of our depot operations, ensuring our fleet of diggers, dumpers, and power tools is maintained to the highest standards and always hire-ready. You’ll lead a team of Fitters, manage workloads, and drive performance—all while keeping safety, efficiency, and quality front and centre.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the depot workshop and ensuring plant equipment is consistently available for hire
* Allocating and monitoring workloads across the fitter team to maximise productivity and meet performance targets
* Leading by example to maintain high standards of safety, service, and equipment care
* Implementing planned maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and repair costs
* Ensuring accurate records of servicing, repairs, and appliance testing are maintained and compliant with legislation
* Managing workshop cleanliness, vehicle maintenance schedules, and off‑hire inspections
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership skills, including:
* Ideally experience in a senior plant mechanic/fitter role, with a relevant qualification or time‑served background
* Solid, up‑to‑date knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
* Strong team management skills in a fast‑paced workshop environment
* A full, valid driving licence
