Outreach Worker required for Camden Based: Camden Start: ASAP Duration: 2-3 months Pay: £15.50 HP / £19.50 LTD Flexibility required We're looking for a committed and resilient Outreach Worker to join our team and support some of the most vulnerable members of the Camden community. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone passionate about helping individuals with complex needs move away from rough sleeping and towards safer, more stable lives. Shift Requirements: Up to 3 early shifts per week (6am-2pm) Late shifts (until 9/10pm) Occasional weekends 1 night shift every 3 months Flexibility is essential What You'll Be Doing: Approaching and engaging with rough sleepers across Camden Working in partnership with local homeless services, police, and community wardens Linking individuals with relevant services and support pathways Supporting clients into temporary accommodation Conducting screening, assessments, recovery planning, and referrals Reducing drug and alcohol-related harm to individuals and the wider community Helping service users access accommodation, health care, substance use services, benefits and more Supporting social reintegration and encouraging recovery, resilience, peer support, and independence Working outdoors in all weather, including early mornings, nights, and weekends About You: You'll be engaging with people who have a history of rough sleeping, substance misuse, and multiple complex needs. You should demonstrate a determined, compassionate approach and be comfortable working in challenging environments.
