We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team, and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of customer and business postal correspondents.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented administrator to take ownership of our incoming and outgoing post processes from our Chippenham office. This role is critical in supporting customer communications, maintaining strong relationships with key external partners, and ensuring post-related activities are delivered accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with teams across the business, you'll help ensure important communications reach the right people at the right time while delivering excellent internal support and service.
Responsibilities:
* Post operations: Manage the end-to-end processing of incoming and outgoing post, ensuring all correspondence is handled accurately, securely and within agreed timescales.
* Query management: Respond to departmental queries relating to post processing, providing timely and accurate support to internal stakeholders.
* Administrative support: Complete a range of post-related administrative tasks, including investigating and resolving returned mail and maintaining accurate records.
* Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to understand their post requirements, ensuring services meet business needs and expectations.
* Relationship management: Maintain and develop the relationship between Good Energy and Royal Mail, acting as a key point of contact for postal service matters.
* Process ownership: Take responsibility for post management processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and service delivery.
* Service excellence: Ensure all post-related activities are delivered to a high standard, supporting a positive experience for customers and external stakeholders.
* Continuous improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve post handling processes and administrative workflows, contributing to operational excellence across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator with previous administrative experience and strong communication skills. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, handling confidential information appropriately, and using office software to support efficient day-to-day operations.
A proactive problem solver with excellent time management skills, you'll be able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience in customer service, document management systems, records management procedures, or data protection regulations would be advantageous.

Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. part-time hours are 22.5 per week.
