Role Profile
Our client, a well‑established international business, is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key OEM clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities across our most strategic accounts. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring our clients’ success while aligning with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain a robust contractual framework that supports long‑term client partnerships.
* Lead regular business reviews to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and align on future collaboration plans.
* Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors across client organisations globally.
* Maintain an up‑to‑date stakeholder matrix and organisational chart within the CRM, ensuring full visibility of key contacts and lateral relationships across departments (Operations, Quality, Finance, IT).
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to expand products, services, and geographical reach, increasing client value.
* Define and track KPIs and service metrics that matter to the client, ensuring performance aligns with contractual obligations and expectations.
* Keep accurate and current records of all client interactions, proposals, and account details in the CRM.
* Partner with cross‑functional internal teams to ensure seamless support and service delivery to clients.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all business‑related client enquiries, projects, and escalations, delivering proactive and responsive communication.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues quickly and effectively, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record as a Senior Account Manager or similar, with at least 2 years of experience in a related industry.
* Proficiency in CRM tools and data management.
* Familiarity with sales performance metrics and reporting.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including experience presenting to executive‑level stakeholders.
* Strong customer‑first mindset with a collaborative and solutions‑oriented approach.
* Exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
* Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
