Electrical Fitter Panel Wireman
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter Panel Wireman to join our client based in Tipton on a permanent basis.

Shifts:
• Standard day shift: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 – 13:00
• Overtime available as required
• Flexibility for shift work and off-site work when required
Salary:
£34,000 - £40,000 based on experience + overtime + benefits

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as an Electrical Fitter Panel Wireman will be:
• Layout and installation of electrical components in control panels and on equipment framework
• Installation of cable tray, trunking, and conduits to industry standards
• Wiring of control panels, frame-mounted components, and specialist machinery
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and crimp tools to industry standards
• Testing of electrical installations as required
• Mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment
• Ensuring all work meets company H&S policy and quality standards
• Recording and reporting any issues promptly to line management
• Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team
Essential Skills:
The essential skills required as a Electrical Fitter Panel Wireman are:
• Recognised training scheme or apprenticeship (minimum Level 3 qualification)
• Previous experience wiring electrical control panels and field installations
• Ability to interpret drawings and work instructions accurately
• Strong knowledge of H&S and quality procedures
• Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
•
Willingness to work overtime and off-site when required
• Proven experience wiring control panels
• Field wiring and installation background
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, GA and wiring diagrams
• A recognised Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship
Desirable Skills:
• Experience of 18th Edition Electrical Safety Regulations
• MEWP, PASMA, Harness, Forklift, Scissor Lift, Scaffold Inspection certification
Training:
• Industry-related training provided with ongoing support
• Opportunities for cross-skilling and upskilling within the business
