Our client requires a Procurement Specialist. Grangemouth, 3 Months The role will be contract for min 3 Months. Job Purpose To source, tender, negotiate, place contracts and orders for the procurement of materials and services across DECOM activity. Achieving Best Value and Risk on each outcome. Dimensions: Contracts will be vary in discipline and value from ranging from £50K to £500K. Principal accountabilities: Determine the style of contract that will best deliver the best overall value and delivery outcome for the business Verify requirement and scope specification eliminating unnecessary costs expenditure Conduct robust and timely Tenders Ensure that all Purchase orders and Contracts are placed in accordance within defined business processes with competent and approved supply chain. Take ownership of order delivery process and expedite as appropriate. Establish an understanding of the supply market including main supplier’s and or contractors Assess business risk/opportunity with Supply Chain Provide expert advice on supplier risks, including in depth market knowledge both commercial and technical. Use influence to encourage procurement change/engagement.
