We're looking for a Design Engineer to join our Structural and Geotechnical -Civils River Infrastructure team based in Bristol. Location: Bristol Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We're looking for a Design Engineer to join Kier Design's growing River Infrastructure team. You'll support the delivery of civil infrastructure and river engineering projects, developing safe, buildable solutions that meet client requirements. You'll work within a collaborative in-house consultancy, contributing to projects for key clients including the Environment Agency, Severn Trent and Mining Remediation Authority. As an Design Engineer, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including: Supporting the delivery of civil infrastructure and river engineering designs Reviewing client requirements and contributing to technical solutions Assisting with fee proposals and project delivery activities Coordinating with engineers and technicians within the design team Ensuring designs are compliant with CDM Regulations, SHEMS and QMS requirements Supporting project performance, including programme, budget and change control Developing alternative design solutions to enhance project outcomes What are we looking for?
