About the Position
Administrator within the NHS Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service with a focus on outreach and screening for Afghan refugees who are veterans.
Responsibilities
* Support management of administrative function within the Office of Courage Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
* Prioritise and organise administration to meet service targets.
* Process referrals swiftly and accurately into the Service.
* Coordinate with triaging clinicians and liaise with patients, referrers, GP services and significant others of patients.
* Minute‑taking and maintain accurate records using Excel at an intermediate level.
* Work autonomously as well as part of a team, taking initiative to anticipate team needs.
* Maintain effective verbal and written communication with staff and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in administrative and ICT settings.
* Strong prioritising and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
* Experience minute‑taking and intermediate Excel skills.
* Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto is a requirement.
* Flexible and supportive of working in a fast‑paced environment.
