Our client is a household name in the UK marketplace, who are embarking on the set-up of a critical new Financial Services venture. This is an exciting opportunity to play a major part in this programme.Responsibilities:Own and lead the People Workstream for the FS strategy and business change project, acting as the intermediary between the People function and the business.Input to and influence the People elements of the MSA and the FCA application and assist with the growth and development of the FS business and its progress towards regulation.Work with the project team for FS to agree people milestones, critical paths and risksWorking with Organisational Effectiveness and other People teams to ensure the People function has the right capabilities and is organised in the right way to deliver the Financial Services strategy and critically, achieve regulated status.Collaborate with the wider people function to integrate people policies and processes, and establish FS specific people working practices and processes in support of regulatory requirements, including activity such as, onboarding, learning needs and reporting, succession planning.Required skills and background:Previous experience in the Financial Services industryStrong preference for prior experience in establishing a regulated environment and setting up SMCR accountabilityExperience influencing and managing up to Executive levelAn established track record in People/HR/shared servicesPrevious exposure to working with complex organisations and driving through organisational changeComfortable with ambiguity, able to be pragmatic and outcome orientatedDelivery orientated with strong HR project/programme experienceHybrid working: Central London when required. c. 9-12 months duration.Fixed term contract: c.£90,000 plus benefits.
