Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food & Beverage Team Members to join our dynamic team at Haslem Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests with a warm, welcoming and positive approach. Your contributions will help create memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment, making you an integral part of our hospitality team. Midweek shift availability would be welcome.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their food and beverage selections.
* Serve food items in accordance with health and safety regulations, in a timely and courteous manner.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events as required.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Adhere to food safety standards and procedures at all times.
* Support bartending duties when necessary, including mixing drinks and serving beverages.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
* Experience in bar and restaurant services or bartending is a plus.
* A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
