The Role
As Technical Manager, you will lead technical compliance and quality standards across the site, ensuring alignment with third-party accreditation and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading quality improvement initiatives and QA/QC strategy
* Managing HACCP and food safety systems
* Driving customer complaint investigation and reduction programs
* Owning key quality control and verification processes
* Leading BRCGS and customer audits to AA / GREEN outcomes
* Overseeing held stock management and corrective actions
* Delivering food safety and quality training at all levels
* Implementing root cause analysis and preventive actions
* Ensuring customer and retailer codes of practice are embedded
* Coordinating customer visits and regulatory inspections
About You
You will have:
* BSc or higher qualification in Food Safety or related field
* Level 3 HACCP certification (essential)
* 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing in a technical/QA role
* Proven experience leading BRCGS and regulatory audits
* Strong knowledge of retailer codes of practice
