Financial Accountant - Financial Services
My global banking client, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Whiteley (Hampshire) team.
6 month contract on a Hybrid basis (2 days a week in Whiteley), paying £375pd.
Key skills:
* Newly qualified ACCA or ACA
* Experience working as an Accountant in Financial Services/Banking
Responsibilities:
* Manage month-end processing, including schedules creation, accounts integration, and monthly controls
* Process reinsurance premiums and claims with supporting schedules
* Perform monthly reconciliations across accounts
* Oversee Investment Operations (daily dealing, pricing) and related reporting (monthly, regulatory, tax, statutory)
* Execute and maintain monthly control processes
* Identify and remediate issues in reconciliations and ledgers
* Provide training and handover support
