A Global fast-paced manufacturing company are looking for a Quality Lead to join the team at their impressive site in the Greater London area, Enfield\n\nThe ideal candidate will be a hard-working, adaptable and personable Quality Lead with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a busy environment and reporting into the Quality Manager, you will have strong evidence of quality experience in a similar facility,\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity with a global company who offer fantastic progression possibilities\nThe Quality department is currently operating on a straight days shift pattern, on a 37.5 hour work week, five days in the office\n \n Role: Quality Lead\n Location: Greater London, Enfield\n Salary: £40,000 - £47,000\n \n The key responsibilities of the Quality Lead role will be:\n\nTeam Leadership & Development\n Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the Lab Technicians team to optimize individual and team performance.\nResource & Workforce Planning\n Oversee short-term labour planning including managing schedules, absences, holidays, and leave to ensure seamless lab operations.\nQESH Support & Compliance\n Collaborate with Production Managers to uphold Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (QESH) standards by offering guidance and training to all relevant team members.\nComplaint Management\n Lead the investigation of product and process complaints within the Performance Cell / Area. Develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.\nAudit Readiness & Action Plans\n Support QESH audits by preparing necessary documentation, responding to audit observations, and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.\nProject Collaboration\n Partner with the Engineering & Technology department on new investments and improvement initiatives relevant to the Performance Cell / Area.\nKBI Monitoring & Continuous Improvement\n Track QESH Key Business Indicators (KBIs), analyze performance, and initiate corrective measures to address deviations from targets.\nOperational Excellence\n Contribute to and support operational excellence initiatives to drive efficiency and innovation across the area \nThe key requirements of the Quality Lead will be:\n\nWorking within food or beverage manufacturing environments\nOverseeing compliance with legislation and risk management protocols\nHandling consumer and customer complaints effectively\nLeading teams responsible for quality testing and analytical processes\nA hands-on approach, clear communication skills\nA graduate with Chemistry/Food/Engineering related qualifications is preferred \n \nPlease apply online or contact (url removed) for a confidential conversation\n \nExecutive Network Group, encompassing Technical Network, Network HR, HSE Network & Procurement People, sourcing mid to senior level management for automotive, aerospace, engineering and manufacturing industrial sectors, with a portfolio of services including executive search, advertising, MRO for permanent and interim contract recruitment services
