The Transformation Facilitator post is an exciting post incorporating leadership and workforce development within Thurrock.
Main duties of the job
You will work within a large district nursing team covering the whole of Thurrock and your roll will include but not be limited the points below.
1. Coordination of nursing new starters and students within Thurrock ICT.
2. Support and development of staff clinical competencies
3. Keeping up to date with clinical practice and procedures
4. Supporting the roll out of new developments
5. Acting as a role model to junior staff
6. Supervision and appraisal of new starters
7. Undertaking probation process for new starters
8. Supporting leadership in managing performance issues where appropriate
9. Where necessary, being flexible and able to support the clinical work within the clinical team

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Fringe High Cost Area Supplement – Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary with a minimum payment of £1,303 and a maximum payment of £2,198 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
