Protocol Education are working with Secondary Schools in the North Somerset area (particularly Weston and Churchill) to help them cover teacher absences and sickness with Unqualified Supply Teachers; is role is a fantastic fit for confident, outgoing Drama students and graduates. Your confidence, creativity and ability to engage an audience translate perfectly into the classroom. Our educators love the flexibility of day-to-day work in schools that value them. Many also secure long-term roles within just a few weeks. Whether you're looking for flexible work or something more consistent, we’ll match you with schools that suit you. The Role As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you’ll step in when a teacher is absent. You’re not expected to teach new content. Your role is to lead, guide and engage. Deliver pre-set work left by the teacher Use your presence and communication skills to hold the room Keep students focused, motivated and on task Build positive, professional relationships with pupils Adapt your approach to suit different classes and environments Your drama background gives you a real edge—confidence, improvisation and energy are key. £100 – £115 per day North Somerset & Bristol Placements close to where you live Driving is apprieciated to increase opportunities ⭐ Work flexibly, 2–5 days per week ⭐ FREE training (including Thrive & Behaviour Support) ⭐ Schools matched to your preferred locations ⭐ Build a standout CV with transferable skills ⭐ Dedicated consultant who listens and supports you ⭐ Opportunities to secure long-term roles quickly Our Free Training We’ll support your development with: Thrive Approach Team Teach Trauma-Informed Practices SEND Essentials Training The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for individuals who bring energy, confidence and a positive presence: Drama students or graduates (or similar backgrounds) Confident communicators who can engage a room Calm, adaptable and resilient Passionate about working with young people Experience in drama, youth work, tutoring, coaching or similar is a bonus Must have the right to work in the UK Why Protocol Education?
