We're looking for a patient-focused Registered Pharmacy Technician to join HealthNet Homecare as a Quality Assurance Lead. In this key role, you'll manage Product Quality Issues (PQIs), liaise with Market Authorisation Holders and the NHS, support medication safety, and ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. Strong communication skills, a passion for quality, and patient counseling experience are essential. Your Role As Quality Assurance Lead, you will manage, investigate, and coordinate all PQIs to safeguard patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will provide patient counseling to promote safe and effective medicine use. Key Responsibilities: Lead PQI management, escalation, and reporting Maintain accurate patient records and liaise with MAHs, NHS, and internal teams Troubleshoot product/device issues, manage returns, and support reimbursement Advise patients on medication use, storage, and adherence strategies Support pharmacovigilance responses, medication reconciliation, and home stock checks Train staff on PQIs and maintain SOPs Support audit readiness, compliance, and internal/external reviews Collaborate with logistics, nurses, pharmacists, and Patient Support teams Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Experience & Skills: Pharmacy/healthcare experience in patient-facing roles Knowledge of medication safety, PQIs, and quality systems Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services / Pharmacy Technician (essential) GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician Science/healthcare degree or project management experience (desirable) Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, flexible, proactive, and resilient Strong planning, multitasking, and attention to detail Team player and supportive of colleagues Excellent IT and data management skills What We Offer: Competitive salary, 25 days holiday bank holidays, pension Professional development and registration fees covered Employee Assistance Programme and remote GP access Uniforms, kit bags, eyecare vouchers, perks via Perkbox Long service awards Please note: due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
