Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

As a Health & Safety Manager, you will lead all health and safety initiatives on site and report to a Head of Safety overseeing multiple European sites. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by providing guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
3. Operating with professionalism and integrity, offering independent and expert advice to the site management team on health and safety issues.
4. Developing positive working relationships with trade union representatives, ensuring regular meetings to review safety standards, and involving the workforce in fostering a safety-first environment.
5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared responsibilities.
6. Collaborating with the wider health and safety team and senior leadership to ensure consistent safety practices across the organization.
7. Engaging with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and improve safety performance.
