As a subject matter expert on channel performance, you will drive the strategic growth of our utilities product portfolios. Your responsibilities include:
1. Strategy & Forecasting: Leading the delivery of quarterly forecasts and developing robust growth strategies to achieve business targets.
2. Performance Analysis: Producing deep-dive reporting and dashboards (using SQL and Looker) to identify areas of concern, opportunity, and success.
3. Commercial Enablement: Building business cases for commercially-led decisions and negotiating external partner contracts and commercial terms.
4. Data Governance: Owning the selection, extraction, and compliance of data for outbound dialling.
5. Process Improvement: Identifying barriers to trading performance and collaborating with stakeholders to streamline complex processes.
6. Customer Retention Strategy: Developing and managing customer retention programmes across our multi-service proposition

You will join our Commercial Growth function, reporting directly to the Commercial Development Director. This is a highly collaborative role where you will act as a bridge between multiple departments. You’ll work closely with Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to ensure priorities are aligned and complex initiatives are delivered. You will also lead cross-functional working groups and manage relationships with external partners to drive and govern key business changes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
7. Significant experience as a Commercial or Trading Manager within a consumer services business.
8. Deep data proficiency, with the ability to link quantity and quality inputs to produce actionable insights and recommendations.
9. Expertise in analytical data tools including Excel, Looker, Big Query, and Data Studio with experience in statistical commercial modelling.
10. A comprehensive understanding of Trading KPIs and the intricate relationship they have with the wider business.
11. Proven experience of managing and developing customer retention programmes in a subscription-led business.
12. Knowledge of contact centre operations and digital environments; experience with Network marketing would be highly beneficial
13. Proven experience in the end-to-end management and implementation of cross-functional workstreams.
