What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Senior FP&A Manager within the newly formed Group Procurement team. The Rolls Royce Procurement function is responsible for annual spend of over £6 billion across all three Divisions of Civil Aerospace, Defence and Power Systems as well as our Group Indirect Procurement team, and this role will be at the centre of the transformation as we build one central team for reporting, performance management and strategic direction. This is a demanding but rewarding role and you will be joining the team at a challenging and energising time as we continue to move at pace through our business transformation and outperform our mid-term targets as set out in our Full Year Results in February 2025. Reporting directly to the Director, Group Finance & Performance Management and acting as a partner to the Divisional Finance Leads for Procurement, this role is pivotal in ensuring that we meet our performance expectations, by providing key insights from our financial plans and long-term forecasts and where we need to make interventions to senior leadership. Installing strong planning, forecasting and reporting for Procurement, which is agile and relevant You will often be looking ahead and pre-empting what is needed to engage others Defining the right level of reporting and forecasting information to make a difference Analysing actual results and variances of our engineering spend and associated external funding Identifying and influencing interventions to optimise performance/ achieve targeted KPIs Articulating financial performance in the context of external data and business drivers: including simplifying accounting and data to clearly explain performance; providing inputs to senior stakeholder reports including Board report, CEO and CFO content, which are supported by strong proof-points and audit trails Collaboratively and constructively challenging our colleagues to help deliver financial commitments and in ensuring fair and balanced messaging Monitoring and driving compliance against group requirements: standards, guidance, instructions, timetables; ensuring analysis is robust in the context of group policies and consistency across other reports Working closely with our transformation team to ensure changes to our new ways of working as sustainable and relevant Who we’re looking for At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
