MCS Group have partnered with the Northern Health & Social Care Trust to recruit an Interim Support Accountant to join their Financial Management team based in Ballymena.
Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial management across operational Directorates, delivering insightful financial analysis, budgetary control, forecasting, and strategic financial support to senior managers and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Support budget setting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
* Produce meaningful financial and management reports
* Analyse complex financial and non-financial data
* Support efficiency savings and service improvement initiatives
* Liaise with budget holders, auditors, and finance teams
* Deputise for the Divisional Accountant when required
Essential Criteria
* Full CCAB or CIMA qualification
* Minimum 2 years' relevant finance experience at supervisory level
* Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
* Experience interpreting complex financial data
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Full UK driving licence and access to transport
