Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is working in partnership with a lovely, welcoming primary school in Wallsend to recruit an enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and looking to gain hands-on experience in education.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the classroom, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting pupils with learning on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
2. Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
3. Helping to manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
4. Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
5. Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Experience working with children in the previous 2 years
7. Have a genuine passion for working with children
8. Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
9. Have good communication and teamwork skills
10. Be reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
11. Be committed to safeguarding and child welfare
