This role provides valuable paid experience and is an ideal stepping stone toward future teacher training.

What You Will Do as a Cover Supervisor:
* Manage classroom behaviour for groups of up to 30 students, ensuring they remain focused and engaged.
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and Humanities.
* Respond to student questions and support their understanding where needed.
* Follow each school’s behaviour, safeguarding, and reporting policies.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Holds an Education-related or Core Subject-based degree.
* Is aspiring to build a long-term career in education, such as becoming a Teacher or Pastoral Manager.
* Can engage and build positive relationships with students quickly and confidently.
* Demonstrates enthusiasm, resilience, and the ability to lead by example.
* Holds a Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
