Early Years SEN Support\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nHours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (32.5 hours per week)\n\nPay: £18,000 per annum\n\nThe Role:\n\nVeritas Education are working with a cluster of SEN schools in the Leeds area who are looking to recruit multiple early years special educational needs support staff. The special needs schools Veritas Education work with support a range a learners with varying special needs, such as Autism, Aspgerger's, sensory and communication needs.\n\nThe schools are specifically set up to support a range of needs, abilities, and help all children access their education.\n\nThe Ideal Applicant:\n\nPrevious experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs.\nKnowledge, understanding and awareness around needs such as Autism, Asperger's and sensory requirements.\n(Preferred) An early year's qualification and experience working with children from EY to pre-school age groups.\nComfortable supporting and managing challenging behaviour (Veritas Education can provide up to date Team Teach positive behaviour management training for those successful applicants).\nA professional attitude and commitment to work, especially when it comes to creating a safe, nurturing and structure learning environment.\nAn understanding, passionate and energetic staff member who is committed to helping students learn, understand and growth independently.This role is ideal for anyone finishing a degree based around SEN/Childhood studies, or someone who is looking at a change from their current role in education, care, early years settings and schools!\n\nPlease apply to the role directly, or you can send over a copy of your CV to George Walton on the details below.\n\nGeorge Walton\n\n(phone number removed)\n\nAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION\n\nAll applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy\nYour CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained\nYou must have legal right to work in the UK\nYou must be willing to attend a registration interviewVeritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.
