About The Job
Join our dynamic team! You will align with departmental objectives, collaborate with colleagues, and adhere to product specifications. After completing role-specific training, you will proactively address issues and participate in continuous improvement activities. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality procedures while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. We are looking for someone who can deliver high-quality work on time and contribute to process and product improvements. We have several positions available in our Compounding and Cleanroom teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand the role and how it fits with the objectives of the department
* Understand relevant colleagues’ roles and how they fit with the objectives of the department
* Carefully follow product specification or other work instructions
* Complete and validate role-specific training
* Raise process, maintenance, and other issues in a timely manner
* Understand the need for improvement activities and enthusiastically participate
* Work in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Quality procedures
* Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe
* Completed work orders fulfilled on time at the appropriate cost and quality
* Improve processes, procedures, and products that are relevant to the role
Candidate Profile
* Knowledge and practice of polymer processing - desirable
* Forklift Trained - desirable
* An understanding of relevant quality and safety processes and reporting techniques
* Quality conscious with strong attention to detail
* Good understanding of the cause and rectification of defects
* Good coordination skills
* Ability to understand and complete paperwork
* Maintain standards as set by Company
* Awareness of the importance of communication and keeping people updated
* Teamwork and cooperation
* Good communication skills (verbal and written English)
* Understand the safety, health, environmental and quality policies
* Demonstrate an understanding of, and focus on, the relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Communicate effectively with confidence
* Be friendly, polite and approachable
