We are looking for a passionate and organised Communications and Events Officer to join the Compassionate Sheffield Programme at St Lukes. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how communities across Sheffield come together to improve experiences of death, dying and grief, while supporting the delivery of a flagship annual festival and a programme of community events. You will combine event coordination, community engagement, and creative communications to amplify lived experiences and drive meaningful social change.
Main duties of the job
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Compassionate Sheffield festival and wider events programme, ensuring events are inclusive, well organised and impactful. Work closely with community partners to co-create content that reflects diverse voices and lived experience. Develop engaging communications across digital channels including social media, website and newsletters. Manage logistics, stakeholders and timelines, while gathering feedback and insight to support continuous improvement.
