Pastoral Support & Attendance Leader – Kingsway Community Primary School
Join a caring, high‑performance primary school committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all pupils. This part‑time role (25 hrs per week) will enable you to develop and deliver pastoral care across the entire school.
Key Responsibilities
* Support individual pupils with emotional, social and behavioural needs, using 1‑to‑1 and group work.
* Work with families to promote good attendance and punctuality, and monitor attendance data.
* Collaborate with outside agencies, social workers and early help services to secure pupil wellbeing.
* Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and collaborate with external agencies on safeguarding matters.
* Review and update school pastoral policy and attend relevant training.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with young people and their families in a school or community setting.
* Commitment to safeguarding, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
* Self‑motivation, resilience and a passion for improving pupil wellbeing.
