KITCHEN PORTER PERMANENT CONTRACT 40 hours per week (shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays). £27,040 per annum About Phyllis Court Club Phyllis Court is a private members club situated in a grand riverside manor, set in 18 acres of land with 17 guest bedrooms on the River Thames in Henley-On-Thames and spectacular views over the river & the countryside beyond. Phyllis Court has excellent facilities, superb cuisines and wines, relaxing riverside accommodation and friendly staff being the perfect setting to meet friends & colleagues, with the highlight of the year being Henley Regatta. The Role: Reporting to the Head Chef you will ensure all kitchen areas, utensils and equipment is clean, sanitised and ready to use. Responsibilities will include: Clean all dishes, floors and equipment as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. All surfaces to be kept neat and tidy to minimize any potential safety issues Clean and operate the dish machine in a safe and cleanly manner, keeping good hygiene practices to the fore. Be aware of Health and Safety at Work and Hygiene regulations and report any irregularities to the Head Chef, Senior Sous Chefs or the Head of Operations. Practice good personnel hygiene at all times to comply with the Club’s policies. Skills and Experience: Have an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness Willing to work in different areas of the kitchen and have a good all-round knowledge of a kitchen.
