There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at Westhaven Hospital.
This post is for 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with afternoons/evenings to be agreed. There may be opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absence.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in clinical ward environments and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Full on-site training and PPE are provided.
Employment requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.

Main duties include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning, damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, emptying bins, and operating mechanical floor cleaning machines.
The role involves teamwork, flexibility, good communication, and initiative.
Additional hours may be available to cover sickness and holidays.
Benefits include competitive pay rates, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and weekend enhancements if required.
Recommend a friend or family member and earn cash! If your referral is appointed and completes probation, you will receive a £500 reward.
