An opportunity exists to join our Customer Support Team at our Manchester HQ as a Customer Support Service Engineer with frequent travel (~50%) to continental Europe, occasionally further afield. The role would suit a customer facing candidate, comfortable with the operation and maintenance of complex instrumentation and a passion for travel.
Responsibilities
1. Execution of customer support contracts and preparation of visit reports.
2. On customer site installation of upgrades, delivery of warranty work, ad-hoc maintenance and planned preventative maintenance visits
3. Testing of repaired units before returning to customers
4. Obtaining customer acceptance for all work done
5. Providing customer technical support
6. Providing appropriate customer training
7. Problem and failure reporting, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
