Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Assessor Trainer for Education and Childcare based in Chichester. This is a part-time role, offering a competitive pro-rata salary of £24,791 - £25,935 per annum (£12,395.50 - £12,967.50).
This role is a fixed-term maternity cover for up to one year, or until the current post holder returns, resigns, or is replaced.
Role Overview
We are recruiting a part-time Assessor Trainer in Childcare and Education to join our friendly T Level team. We seek an individual passionate about making a difference in this vital sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting learners' vocational development and employability skills.
* Training and assessing learners to awarding organisation standards in a timely manner.
* Leading classroom activities to enhance understanding of assessment criteria.
* Developing training programmes in collaboration with the course team and industry work placement officers.
* Providing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to support individual learner progress.
* Assessing learner competence against industry standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Level 3 (or above for higher and degree apprenticeships) relevant qualification.
* Recent vocational experience in the relevant industry sector.
* Experience with assessment techniques preparing learners for summative assessments.
* Knowledge of the vocational area.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
