Job Title: Founders Associate
Location: Hybrid in London (Flexible - 80% remote)

Compensation: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE.

They operate at the crossroads of science, technology, and entrepreneurship - combining an investment fund, and a creative media platform to support innovation from multiple angles. This enables them to play an active role in building and growing the companies they invest in, offering both funding and hands-on expertise.
The team is close-knit and high-performing, working remotely with flexible access to Central London office space.
Support:
As a Founders Associate, you will:
* Support the founder in executing strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the broader vision and priorities.
* Drive projects across operations, strategy, fundraising, and business development, tracking timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups
* Assist with SEIS/EIS fund initiatives, including capital raising, operational automation, and marketing strategy
* Support FCA direct authorisation applications, including document collation, drafting responses, and coordinating with advisors and compliance consultants.
* Contribute to business expansion projects such as the BBI Mandate, helping identify opportunities and implement solutions.
* Support recruitment and HR processes, from candidate coordination to onboarding.
Ideal person:
* Highly driven and proactive, able to adopt new skills quickly and work autonomously.
* Experience in startup operations, strategy, venture capital, or working closely with founders or senior leadership is desirable but not essential.
* Recruitment or HR experience is a plus.
* Interest in deep science, technology, and entrepreneurship.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Tech-savvy, comfortable learning new tools and systems as needed.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing high-quality materials for investors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
You will be at the heart of multiple high-growth initiatives, working directly with the founder to make an impact. This role offers exposure to capital raising, regulated processes, operational strategy, and venture development, all while providing a platform to learn and grow quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.
Competence is more important than experience in our search.
