Performance Info Engineer Rate: £400-470/day inside IR35 Location: Bristol, hybrid Reports To: Head of Data Governance 6 month contract Purpose: The Performance Info Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality data products and pipelines that support business intelligence, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Translate business requirements and designs into technical solutions.
Develop, test, and deploy data products using Databricks, Power BI, SQL, Python, Scala, and other technologies.
Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows for batch and streaming processes.
Document data mappings, transformations, and lineage; re-engineer manual processes for scalability and automation.
Ensure adherence to data standards, security, GDPR, and quality requirements.
Use agile methodologies (Azure DevOps) to manage tasks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Support continuous improvement, monitoring, and CI/CD deployment of data products.
Knowledge & Skills: Strong technical knowledge of data engineering, BI, and analytics.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving and proactive approach to improving data pipelines.
Knowledge of data ethics, security, and legal obligations.
Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience in CI/CD, agile software engineering, SQL, Python/Scala, and R.
